Yesterdays Airplane Drawing

Hello Friends!
Well, it's now catch up time.
I got home yesterday for Father's Day,
and had a great time with my Dad and my family catching up with them.
Texas was really fun and relaxing.
While i was half asleep on my extra early flight yesterday morning,
i ended up drawing this picture.
I think the original image was from an old Vogue cover.
I also did a few more drawings on the flight; one of them isn't done yet...
don't worry, i shall post it soon enough!

I Love Covers

WOW! Don't remember the last time i was this tired. Sorry for the day delay on posts...
been exhausted & working non stop!
Well, i thought it would be fun to do a post of all my different drawings of covers.
Some were real covers, some i made up, but i wanted to just post all of them! haha

The Girl Experiment

Well, ok so you all requested it....
this was my late night drawing experiment.
It was a super funking and weird technique to get where i got.
It would to hard to explain,
but i don't know, i think it was an interesting idea i want to explore in the near future...
It's definitely different, huh?
Well, for me, i guess.
I finished up 14.5 pages out of 26 in the kid's book, so almost there.
Leaving for Hawaii in less than a week!

Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2011

Well I'm not sure if you all have been following the Couture shows going on right now,
But a few days ago i was looking through the pictures of the amazing Christian Dior Haute Couture show,
and there was this one specific garment that I had to paint the second i saw it.
I really like how the painting turned out.
It's one of my biggest dreams to be invited to a couture show and getting to paint the collection!
That would be so insane... but until then i made this ; )
