iPhone Photos: San Francisco & Napa

I know my absence has been scandalously long, but I haven't disappeared from the internet all together. I've been hanging out on Instagr.am, Pinterest and Tumblr which all make sharing fun tidbits so much quicker and easier than doing full-blown blog posts.


I'm finally getting around to posting my CA trip photos from two weeks ago. The trip was very quick and was all about meeting my sweet little baby nephew which means I did very little sightseeing and normal touristy things. Even though it was short, my trip was wonderful and I'm already planning on going back in November when Cole has a week long conference in the city. YAY! Below are the photos I took on my only day in SF where I met my sister for lunch at the Ferry Building and walked around the port...
















Then we drove off to Napa to spend two lovely nights just relaxing and hanging out...


















And then I was home again and greeted by my two little guys...

That 70s Show

I've been spending my spare time digging through old family albums. I hit the jackpot and found a ton of amazing photos of my parents from the time they were dating in high school to just after their wedding in '75. My parents met when my mom was a freshman and my dad a senior. They dated for three years and then were married the summer after my mom graduated. They were only 18 and 21 and are still going strong.



Staring at all these photos, I can't help but notice the genetic similarities. Most people say I favor my dad, but I believe I'm 50/50. I have my dad's crazy hair and poor eyesight, my mom's eyes and eyebrows, their light brown hair, a combination of their noses and so much more. Oh and speaking of genetics- the top left photo includes my dad's younger brother. See gingers do run in my family! So I wasn't too far off when I dyed my hair last fall.
