The Post With No Title

I hope everyone had a stupendous holiday! However, the partying is not over yet, in fact, it just started! Sorry I've been a little casual; it's just that work and friends have me by the neck so online time is scarce. And in the spare time I do get, I'm working out! You know, you gotta lose the holiday pounds before you step out in your scandalous dress for New Years. This workout to be exact:

I usually get people what I want for Christmas, and this year I got my brother Guitar Hero 3 for his Wii. I played that thing literally alll Christmas day while sipping on eggnog. Loves it. Edit: Before I pass out from my night out, I took a few quick pictures of my Christmas presents.

- Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume set
- American Fashion
- A Million Little Pieces by James Frey
- A sweater from Hollister *
- A cute tunic from INC
- Black leather purse from Barney's NY
- Starbucks giftcards
- Vintage Christian Dior sunglasses
- A lot of money
- Sheep wool seat covers for my car **
- Juicy Couture socks
- Vintage Christian Dior sweater

* Around five ago, I have this absolute infatuation with all things Abercrombie and Hollister, my relatives haven't caught on yet that I'm not really into those brands anymore. But for the sake of wearing the sweater, I covered the logo with a cute vintage brooch -- it looks so much better now. Hah.
** As some may know, I work at Starbucks. Lately, my parents have been nagging me to get seat covers because I always manage to get coffee or chocolate stains on my seats. Hence, the ultra comfortable seats.

What was your favorite present for Christmas? And what was your favorite present that you bought someone else? I have to say my favorite present is American Fashion because my 13 year old brother bought it for me and he complained that he 'never fathomed a book could cost that much'. It was cute.

Because today is my day off, I'm gonna take the time to slowly pamper myself -- and maybe go shopping with my family. Now, where's my hot pink nailpolish?

Merry Xmas

Merry Christams, Xmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Saturday!
If you only knew how much trouble I went through just to post this one image today!Bah!

The Badass

Happy Holidays! I will be in Texas until New Years Eve. Hopefully there will be some updates in between.

am

A recent holiday party turned into a late night/early morning photo shoot.
I love holiday parties and the over consumption that comes with them.
Nothing like some tinsel to go with your Four Loko.

The Wishlist

It's that time of year again: finals are done and I get to look forward to my birthday, Christmas, and New Years. I understand that most of this is actually beyond realism, but a girl can dream, right?

I really can't help but to cloud my mind with possible layouts, furniture, and knickknacks my soon-to-be apartment will have. All I know is I want an awesome structured leather couch (vintage or this one from Ikea) and a quirky chandelier. The rest will come to me. Oh, and how 'bout those Lanvin dolls featuring the Spring collection? T.D.F.

Growing up, I used to love watching the Pictionary show at my babysitters house, now I want to get back into that excitement with family nights around this creepy little guy, though I imagine it'll be hard trying to quick sketchy around the curves. If anyone has an iPhone, this Incase makes for an awesome cover. It makes your iPhone battery lost longer – somehow. The Canon is really self explanatory (hint: JAMES), and that Steven Meisel editorial is one of my favorite, and now it's in a puzzle form. How awesome.

I normally am happy with the whiteness of my teeth, but lately, I've been drinking too much coffee and tea that it's making my teeth look a little dull. I've read the reviews on this, and they say it works quite well (it's a one week supply I think – use two a day), but it's not really worth the price. I've been partial to different colored lips as opposed to my boring, daily nudes. I recently purchased a bright fuchsia, and I love it! Next, I want to venture to deep, burgundy red. Though that is a bold step I am willing to take, I don't think I can pull of the YSL black lipgloss, no matter how fun it sounds to try it on.

Jil Sander
Need I explain myself with the shoes? These aren't even the top of my charts. So many  shoes out there, not even money to get to all of them. Le sigh.

Long, strappy bags are seriously grabbing my attention, as well as hanging feather earrings; I just need to re-pierce my left ear and I will be sporting these in no time! I also love my Persols, but I really want a larger tortoise pair. Oh, and those gorgeous flower rings are at Pier 1 for only 4 bucks! Stocking stuffer, much?

The Last Day of Finals

I'm privileged to take three finals on my birthday tomorrow; I'm going to be up all night cramming and dreaming about the Britney Spears concert Ted and I are going to in April.

I've always wanted to attend a Britney concert; I can watch her performances on Youtube for hours. I was a bit hesitant for the Circus theme - you know, it seemed a little tacky four months ago, but judging by her promotional shows, I am stoked! Ted and I pretty much idolize her.

Is anyone else going? We're going on the 17th.

The Birthday Wishlist

I'm chipper than ever. Can you guess why? My birthday is coming up, December 10th to be exact. Guess how I'll be spending my birthday?! Writing two papers. Rather than using my inspiration to write two papers; I'm publishing this post before I get writer's block. Don't ask me 1. how old I am (unless you already know) 2. what I'm doing for my birthday. Both of which, I do not know. Pray for an open house on the 15th -- conveniently after finals and the same weekend of my birthday.

With a birthday comes a wishlist. As much as I want to throw a pair of Louboutins and a Mui Mui handbag into my wishlist, I'm going to be practical. The question "what do you want for Christmas" gets so overrated since everyone's answer is always "I don't know". Fortunately, I DO! Take a few of the choices, make it your own, or take it as gift ideas for someone else.

Cosmetics and such are always a little harder to pick out for people, though, if you're asking for it, it makes it so much easier for the giver to buy exactly what you want.

I don't know about, but I feel as though one can never go wrong buying makeup brushes. Let's face it, we forget about the fact that we want new makeup brushes after admitting to using the same brush for a year. Also, it doubles as a cute makeup bag and I really need one since mine ripped. Now that I have makeup brushes, I need eyeshadow. I usually don't wear eyeshadow unless I'm going out, and if I do decide to wear eyeshadow I only go with neutrals -- black is too overrated and colors can look tacky.

What girl doesn't want a fathom of girly DVDs full of fashionable eye candy? For me, DVDs double as room decoration.

I haven't seen Factory Girl or Funny Face, but I want to add them to the collection. Marie Antoinette was an okay movie, but I was thoroughly entertained with the extravagant dresses and room decor. I totally recommend Cashback. Brilliantly done and gives you a new perception to still art. There's a short film and a long version, I've only seen the short one which is fabulous. Great soundtrack as well.

Buying home decor is a little difficult as well, but if you know a person's preferences and home style, maybe you can find a good gift. Here are a few that I feel no one can turn down.

This blanket I picked out - wow. I found this at Target during Black Friday for $19.99 and I wish I bought more. One for my brother, my car, my parents. It's so soft and warm! Who can resist?! And I don't know about you, but I'm a sucker for pretty candles. As for the jewelry holder, I throw my necklaces and bracelets around everywhere and they tangle. Loves it.

Aside from using books as room decor, I love going through huge, hardback books fill with inspiration. I guess a nice read will keep me going on a vanilla Sunday. But with all the reading I do for school, I could use the break.

Fire away for wanting a book that belongs to raisin face, but you have to admit, you LOVE the way Nicole and Lindsey dressed pre-Zoe. Now their post rehab and pregnancy outfits aren't exactly up to par, think Nicole will make a comeback? Then there's Victoria Beckham, and I honestly think you either love or hate her. After watching their coming to America special, her ditzy humor took it home for me -- I love her! Maybe her style is quite lavish, I believe her tips come from her wholeheartedly.

The rest of the wants are thrown into a pile of miscellaneous. Namely accessories. Though they're not listed, bangles and statement rings are welcome with open warms!

66e

First off, I love this purse! I guess it helps that it's one of the first very affordable purses I've seen worn by a celebrity, Lindsey Lohan. Gotta love the classic frame as well! I'm quite an organized freak! I love the idea of planners and journals, unfortunately, I get over it within a week. My love for planners is like a roller coaster, I love it then I'm over it then I love it again. And seriously, those sunglasses are sex. Enough said.

Sorry to cut short, but I have to study for finals! I had to get this post up before it ate away at my consciousness. Now, I can study in peace. Hopefully, you guys grabbed a few ideas from this. Birthday presents are still welcome!

The Love of Locks

Whoo! I chopped off 13 inches for Locks of Love, and I don't miss a single inch of it! I was contemplating for days and days: Should I keep my hair? Should I just get my front bangs again? Someone else needs my hair more than I do... My hair has looked the same for so long... but it takes forever for it to grow back if I don't like it...

When it was finally time to decide, I sat with my hairdresser for about five minutes deciding and just came across the conclusion: "Oh fuck it, eventually hair grows back."

Drowning in gold

(shorts- c/o Queens Wardrobe, sweater-Nastygal, vest-Zara, socks- c/o American Apparel, shoes- Zara, bag- Zara, necklaces- vintage, blue ring- Crossroads Trading Co.)
Sam and I ran away from family obligations for a day of LA adventures.
We visited a few super fancy art galleries, people watched on Rodeo, and just kind of got lost in the city.
The light in southern California has a beautiful golden glow to it. At sunset it almost completely drowns the city, making everything look a little more magical.
I can't stop wearing this cropped sweater and my vest. They just seem to easily fit into every outfit I put together. I love finding pieces like that, they make dressing myself so much easier.

The Bee-zee Girl

I am so, so sorrry for the lack of updates. I've been so busy lately! I do have ideas for few posts to come up, but I've hardly had the time to work on them. I do, however, have a few videos to keep you ladies entertained until the posts get rolling again. Do expect:

- The Winter Staples
- My new haircut (front bangs)
- Going back to Homecoming
- My birthday wishlish
- Replying to emails
- And a few more.

I never get tired of watching Christian Dior's haute couture shows.

I'm starting to seriously ADORE Irina Lazareana

Though the clothes aren't all that mind blowing, it's amazing how they were able to have the show on the Great Wall of China. I heard it took 3 years to get permission to do so.

The song is growing on me, but more over I love the fashion and filming style!

Sam and I dedicated another weekend to searching out new eateries around the city.
Saturday we discovered a Middle Eastern deli shop with complimentary tea and homemade baklava.
Later that night we grabbed street tacos in the Mission after watching a strange little multi-media performance piece by our Walgreens guy.
Sunday we found a little Vietnamese deli/bakery gem, Lee's sandwiches, nestled in the heart of the Tenderloin. Their boba smoothies and $3.00 sandwiches were the perfect rainy day pick me up.
It was a sleepy weekend in the city.

The Egyptian Holiday

Some pictures from the weekend. Warning, extremely image heavy.

They tried to make me go to rehab, but I said 'no, no, no.'

You wouldn't believe how amazing this house party was. There were camels! Enough said. It was the perfect Egyptian execution.

Not to mention, the jello shots were amazing!

And gave eachother gifts for no reason.

Yes! James bought me those SS08 Chloe shoes. I can't stop staring at them; it's love. I love you James, thank you!
