Good boy, Wellington

Even though Wellington needs very little encouragement, we always tell him "Good boy, Wellington" when he poses nicely. I swear he was born to be a model. He's more of a natural then I am.

Since I loved my custom Dear Beatrice dress so much, I asked Beatrice to make me another one. This time I wanted a jumper for the fall and winter. I plan on wearing it with little white blouses, cardigans, opaque tights and boots. Isn't it so cute.

Munchkins, ModCloth & the Delightful Dozen

While I'm still feeling poorly and trying to fight whatever is kicking my arse, I thought I would show you two little munchkins that could care less that I'm sick.

Last, but certainly not least, I received some very exciting news today...I was invited to join the Delightful Dozen!! Ever since the group started, I thought it would be such a cool thing to be a part of!!! I'm so very happy that I get the opportunity. Thank You for inviting me ladies!

So I know I'm crazy, but I changed my header again. As much as I loved the previous photo, I didn't like that it wasn't very wide. With a little advice from Avalonne and Cole, I feel like I got it right. What do you think?

ModCloth Travel Bug: Royal Oak, MI

I can't tell you how excited I was when ModCloth asked me to do a Michigan travel bug post! Given the chance to pick my location, I couldn't resist my lovely hometown of Royal Oak, MI. Being able to highlight all of my favorite haunts was very bitter sweet and looking at today's post makes me a bit homesick. But seeing Wellie's funny pug face definitely cheers me up!

...We arrived in St Paul on Wednesday evening! All of our stuff doesn't arrive till Tuesday, so we're using camping furniture. Our place looks like squatters have taken over!!

So sorry for the late post, but things have been crazy. We got home late last night from the cottage and I've been out running around all day.

Blossoms for Wellington

Cole, Wellie and I enjoyed a nice little excursion. The trees are finally blossoming here, so it's quite beautiful. I also had the chance to take my new clogs out for a spin. Definitely a bit tricky on uneven ground, but otherwise they're really quite comfortable for being so high. Do you happen to recognize this location? Did everyone have a lovely weekend? Mine was nice, but very cold. The temps were back in the 40's. Yuck. No wonder I've been sick a lot with all this wishy-washy Michigan weather.
