Well did yawl hear?
Bloglovin is having a blog Awards event!
My good friend Mattias Swenson of Bloglovin asked me to do some artwork for the The Bloglovin Awards Invite.
This was what i ended up coming up with.

I'm pretty excited about the event, and am so proud of Mattias and the Bloglovin crew.

Ginger M. Toast Miester - Study Sketch

Hey Friends...
So my good Swedish friend from BlogLovin Mattias came down to stay with us this weekend.
Mattias is a big fan of Surfing,
So we hung out at the beach all weekend,
Needless to say, i'm painfully sunburnt!
My stomach is bright red right now... hahaha

The Painting today is a Study Sketch of Ginger Marmalade Toast Miester.
If you don't know, Ginger Marmalade Toast Miester is a kid's story written by Sophie Ward that i am doing the artwork for.
This was a Early character Development sketch i did for it.
We ended up going in a different direction with it,
but i really like his glasses and his suit...
He's like the 007 cat! haha
Well anyways, i hope you like it. :)

I Found some picks today that I took at last NYFW,
hahaha So, My Brother Dave, Mattias (Bloglovin), Carolina (FashionSquad), Camille (Childhood Flames), Ryan and Alice Baxley(Clouds & Candy), my Friend , and I went to the American Museum of Natural History and this happened...
haha we had so much fun, it was one of the first times i get to show what goes on in my imagination with some pictures! haha
well i hope you like the pictures.
i think my favorite picture is the one of Camille with the lion! haha :)

Morning Friends!
Well spent yesterday experimenting with developing tons of new techniques and new mediums...
I have to say, i don't remember the last time i've been this excited about a project.
I love learning & experimenting and so far the experiments have turned out amazing.
I'm still not ready to post them yet, but I'm dying for you to see it!
I thought i would post a picture of my good friend Carolina Engman of fashionsquad,
Who had her birthday last week.
This picture is from when my bother David, Carolina, Mattias, Team Bloglovin, and I had breakfast at my favorite breakfast place, "Le Pain Quotidien".
Have you been there? Oh my! There is this fruit tart that i always get there that is seriously the greatest thing i have ever tasted in my life! Shoot, now I'm really hungry....

W Hotel VIP Lounge Sketch

Hey, friends, how are you?
Wow! The last few days have been bleeding into one.
I've seen so many friends, so many amazing collections, and also met so many amazing people.
Don't worry, detailed accounts are coming!
I mean, I have already shot 15 gigs of images and files and still have 2 days left...
Haven't had enough time to sort through all the files!
I can't wait to tell you all about Chictopia 10 (which was amazing), the IFB Conference, Charlotte Ronson, Tony Cohen, Chris Benz!
Oh, so much to tell you about.
My brother & I spent alot of time hanging out with Mattias (Bloglovin Founder), Carolina (Fashionsquad), and Camille (Childhood Flames), also my friends Ryan & Alice.

But today we decided to take it down a notch and have a laid back day of no shows, just hanging out and getting work done.
So the W Hotel was nice enough to invite us over to hang in the VIP lounge which is backstage in the tents in Bryant Park.
Which was amazing cause i've been dying going without drawing for this many days!
So i sketched this picture today!
And painted the hair with my coffee... haha

Oh, and to my amazement, when my brother and i where about to leave, guess who walked in???
Alexa Chung!!! I know, right!?
So my brother talked me in to introducing myself...
which i usually never do...(cause I'm pretty shy)
but somehow i mustered up enough courage to say hello.
And I'm so glad I did, she is truly an amazing person!
So sweet and wonderful!
She was so nice :)
It basically made my year ... It was incredible...

I will keep you posted on the rest of my time here!

Hi friends! How are you?
Well, i'm off to bed but i have to go into work tomorrow so i decided i would post tomorrow's post now,
cause i'm a Zombie man in the morning and would probably forget to post.
