The Cactus Garden

I apologize for my little MIA act. Sunday morning, my parents literally woke me up with a “SURPRISE! YOU’RE GOING TO VEGAS AND YOU CAN’T DO A THING ABOUT IT!” Originally, they planned to leave me home while they venture off to Vegas, but they made the smart decision, knowing that I would somehow ruin their trust, to take me along with them. They were right. So much for my masked party, huh? Well, I brought my MacBook to Vegas in hopes of being able to have access to a social life. Rather, there was no free internet and if there was, I didn’t know how to connect.

Since my candid trip to Vegas was more of a pack-and-go, I threw in random clothes that I found on my closet floor (yeah, I haven’t gotten around to cleaning) and fidgeted in the car for four unholy hours. The one thing that I’m not going to complain about is Vegas’s weather was absolutely perfect -- a perfect 75. Apparently, people were burning in Southern California.

This outfit kept me cool in the day and warm at night. Viva Las Vegas!

  • Sweater: American Apparel
  • Skirt: American Apparel
  • Shoes: Vans (We walked 3-5 miles on average. Wait, 7-8 according to my brother.)
  • Necklace: Forever 21
This picture was taken at a cactus garden, not in the heart of Las Vegas itself, if anyone is wondering.

I hate to push back the Spring Staples any more than I already have, but I must make up for lost Spring Break time -- I value time-off.
